I bought some chubs from Primal and Smallbatch. They are 2lb each. Do you open it first and thaw, or you just put it on a tray or something and stick it in your fridge?
what I do is in a plastic container I pull out and thaw what my boy will eat in one day so it is always fresh. I pull out a few more if I will be gone and some one is feeding my boy. I thaw them in the ridge.
When I bought a NV chub, I thawed it as soon as I bought it, cut it into appropriate pieces, and re-froze. Then I can just thaw pieces as needed day-to-day.
