For me it's "Bye, Squeakling/Peepling/Tuckerling...I'll be back as soon as I can!" Then I kiss and pat their heads.
By then the horn is honking, but what can Ido? It's important business to say goodbye to my babies!
I know! BF and I got "in trouble" with a friend who came by expecting to see, you know, actually *kitten*, sheesh! when all of ours, at the time, were at least like nearly a year old.Originally Posted by valanhb
I'm just curious how every says goodbye when they are leaving their house?
For me, it's "You kittens be good. I love you all! I'll be home later/at lunch."
For Earl it's "Kittens be good, be back in a bit."
And no, it doesn't matter that Trent and Ophelia are 7 1/2 years old, or that both Ginger and Mojo are over a year now. They are and will always be "kittens".
It's the flail-y guy that raises that post to art.Originally Posted by lookingglass
I say: "Bye boys! Momma loves you!"
DH says: "8-Bit you're in charge."
That is so sweet!Originally Posted by rapunzel47
Usually the goodbyes are individual, and are something like "Bye sweetie, Mum's gotta go catch mousies now (going to work), see you later. Look after the house now -- Mum counts on you." And if more than one is present, "Everybody be nice, now!"

It's usually "bye kitties/pussycats, back in a little bit/tonight/later - be good!!"
