How Do I Prevent E-mail Notifications For Threads?

I can't seem to find how to SHUT OFF e-mail notifications for threads. I looked in my general settings and don't see a way to universally and blessedly get rid of e-mail notifications.

Open one of the emails and scroll to the bottom. There should be instructions there to turn them off. If that doesn't work for some reason, let us know.
