But if you happened upon that picture somewhere you'd just skip past it as an image. Under normal circumstances you would stop and stare.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
well I came here looking for info on the kitty who found us when she was starving to death, and had no tail so hubby wanted to call her "Lucky" and I wanted to call her "Puss" in Boots, so we compromised & called her "Lucky Boots", but we had said "your such a LuckyGirl" and "c'mere you LuckyGirl" and "are you momma's LuckyGirl?" 1000 times over, so LuckyGirl it was!

Maybe its because I'm a...
My great grandma was heard of hearing when my parents told her what they were going to call me-
'we're naming our daughter Kasmyn'
'Catmint? thats a strange name!'
'No, KASMYN'
'Ahh, Katherine, thats much better!'
It kinda stuck as a nickname, but was taken already so cata_mint it is!

Lioness Rampant was the name of character in Tamora Pierce's The Lioness QUartet, which were some of my favorite books when I was a kid.

I wanted something kinda feline sounding, so I picked this!

On other things where I need a catchy handle I use liberopensatore, which is Libero Pensatore (although to be gramatically correct it should be pensatore libero), or "free thinker" in Italian.

Winter Hawk was the name of a movie that came out sometime in the 80's. It was a "Native American" movie....which I have an uncontrollable attraction to. I have it on VHS.....it has never been available in DVD.....yet anyways.

Mine is cos when I started on the internet, Tigger had just died, but I didn't realise just how common her name was!! So it was either that with a number after, or add something to do with a hobby (blame MSN for giving me that choice), and out of my hobbies, book sounded better. So bit odd really, but effectively a combination between a fav hobby and a missed puss.

I chose mine because most days (especially cold or rainy days, or when I'm cooking something they like, or getting out the treat can...) it seems like it is cats-all-over, everywhere!
Especially when the foster kitten(s) make their rare, but undeniable, appearances!

Well, I'm going to confuse everyone!

My name is not Natalie, it's Linda.

How I chose a name like Natalie_ca? I have no idea, LOL I just typed it one day on another forum that I was registering on and I've used it a few times since.

I chose my name because I am owned by 2 male abysinnian cats.... I do have 4 other cats in the house. They are not as demanding and as energetic as the abyssinians.....

I use this name as my AOL name and anywhere else I register now...here's a breakdown.

The "X"s on the ends stand for Straight Edge. Can read about it here if interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight_edge

"Posi" refers to a general life philosophy of staying positive.

"Groove" is for my favorite touring band Perpetual Groove. www.pgroove.com

So that's it, xposigroovex.
