So my female cat was in heat the week of April 4th. She lasted less than a week. I tried to keep her and my male separated but idk if I was successful. He is now neutered but I'm worried she might be pregnant. She has been a little irritable and won't let us hold her for long. She's also gotten a little fatter around the belly. I checked her nipples and they seem the same. I've look at websites and YouTube but I would like to hear from personal experience?

She’s likely pregnant since she was around your male cat who was not yet neutered. You can go ahead and spay her now as it would be early in the pregnancy if you don’t want kittens.

I wouldn't mind the kittens. I just want to know if she is or not. It's driving me crazy. 🤣 I don't want to pay for an x-ray either and she not be pregnant.

You’ll need to wait it out! If she is, plan to spay her when the kittens are 8 weeks old. If she’s not pregnant, get her spayed sooner. :)
