I've said it before and I'll say it again: Without the things I learned on TCS about ferals, there is no way that I would have ever even considered adopting one. And it is the information given here on this site that provided me with the proper skills and techniques for socializing him. I gained confidence by reading the stories of other feral/semi-feral cat owners, and I continue to learn as he grows.

My success with Ferris is YOUR success with Ferris. He is a TCS kitty through and through.

I just read in a thread that Ferris and Ging are going to have a new sister, too!! Congratulations! Make sure you talk to them both about the new arrival on a regular basis. As well as you have done with Ferris its going to be a cinch bringing in the new Bengal girl!

I have already started telling Ferris and Ginger about their new sister, and I showed them her picture already. They smelled the paper, lol, and I think they were more interested in the smell of ink than the photo itself.

By the time I bring Tinta home, they will have heard her name hundreds of times.

I do think that we ought to have a fairly smooth transition!

I didn't know you were getting a third cat

Congratulations, I hope the socialising of this cat goes better than ours is currently

AWW I am so glad Ferris is coming into his own.... As the mom to another Semi feral it is one of the best feeling when they do something like that
