How Can I Tell If Stray Kitty Is Pregnant Or Has Already Had Kittens?

Someone dumped a stray at my house, she has breast (idk what else to call it) development, they seem full of milk and hang down, no milk comes out of them, her belly is mildly round, and she eats like a horse but she is very young and very thin. Other than an xray, how would I tell?
