Hi,
I just started my kittens on this new food, transitioning from Wellness Chicken. The first case of Duck had a more dense texture, almost like ground turkey in a sloppy joe. Opened up a new case today, and the can had very soft, smooth pate texture to it. Just wondering if this normal for this food? Kitties had no problem eating the chunkier texture last 2 weeks. They seemed to like smoother texture of new food this morning even more, and ate a lot. One threw up few hours later, which he does on occasion. But i want to make sure this is not food related to a bad batch of cat food?
Thank you!

I’ve always found H&G to be more of a soft pate...which is why my two seem to like it I think. They aren’t fans of dense, dry pâtés at all.

Now i wonder if the first batch was just off. They didn't seem very interested in eating the new one just now. Hope they come around. Finding a good brand with no additives is hard!
