If I ever meet with foul play, my autopsy should be interesting. "Where did this woman get all of these scars?!?"
Tonight, I was cooking with very hot oil in our little slice of restaurant Heaven, fried chicken to be exact. I don't use a deep fryer for this recipe, as it makes the coating too crispy. I can't remember why this happened, I just remember the very hot oil burning my left hand, all the way up almost to my shoulder. Ouchies. Luckily, I thought quickly, and wiped my arm on my apron to stop the oil from burning more.
I have a big blister on my finger that keeps opening up. Luckily, this happened much later, so I was able to legally handle food. Now, the whole back of my hand is seeping tiny amount of pus--there are little slits in my skin, not blisters yet. This is most annoying, as I have only one good hand, and it's the right hand.
After I apply ointment, should I wrap my hand in gauze, at least for bedtime? Thanks.
