Those pictures are hilarious.
I'm still trying to figure out how eight-pound Gizmo winds up with 2/3 of the bed, with me on the outer edge...she also has developed a habit of doing full-body slams into my face at 3 AM just before playing bed mice. I guess these body slams are more intense expressions of "wuv" than mere head butts.

Actually I love every minute of it. I hope your kid let you get some sleep, though!

I so needed a laugh (sorry).

We only have two, and a queen size bed. But since we are also not small people, we fill up a lot of the bed ourselves. Add two cats, and it's a lot of fun. The other night, I had to crawl in from the bottom because Cindy was curled up in my place, and I just don't have it in my heart to boot her out. Often I wake up with one leaning against my leg on one side and the other one on the other side. One night I woke up and Swanie was actually laying on my foot - and this is no lightweight cat we're talking about. Swanie is a burrower, but he's not the brightest kitty, so he'll wake me up scratching at the blanket trying to find the opening.

Suddenly I'm very happy that I have only one cat and he prefers to sleep elsewhere at night.
