Our 7 month old indoor kitten is acting strange. She keeps rolling around in the flour and rubbing her ears to the ground, then she''ll kick her legs. She has been "wormed" and just to make sure we gave her another dost of worm med yesterday. This morning she didn't eat anything. Could it be ear mites? Please respond soon. Thanks.

She's the right age, and it's the right behavior. Please schedule her to be spayed if you don't have an appointment already.

Otherwise, you can count on this behavior as frequently as every other week, coupled with trying to escape and spraying your house with urine.

Being in heat was my first thought, but when my kitty started to go into heat, it didn't curb her appetite.
If she doesn't eat soon, I'd take her to vet to make sure she's not having some kind of reaction to the worming medication.
