I recently rescued a dog and obviously my cat doesn't like her... He will hiss at her and occasionally swipe but he is okay when the dog isn't around (he isn't distressed). But now instead of hissing out loud, he will have his mouth open but now sound will come out.
I'm not too worried but I would still like to know why he is doing that.
