Himalayan body type?

I just received a purebred dollface blue point himalayan kitten. She is 6 months old. I've never owned a himalayan prior to her and I know they are supposed to have short legs, which she does...except her hind legs seem to be longer giving her an uneven slanted look when she is walking around (her butt is in the air). Is this normal for this type of cat?

She sure is a pretty girl. I hope you get an answer. I love learning about different types of cats even if I don't own that type of cat.

It would be great if you could post a picture of her standing up so we can see actually what you mean

But from what you describe I think it sound like she's in the middle of a growth spurt. At 6 months this sounds about right. You will find that she will have another growth spurt and her front legs will catch up and she will start to look more in proportion.

Okay here's mostly what I mean. Her rear seems to be out of proportion to her front.....but then again I am used to Ragdolls. I still love her to bits though!
