My cat is currently about 8-9 years old and he's a normal Blue Russian. He usually has normal meows and meows if he wants attention or food or if something's bothering him. However, for the past about 3 days, his normal meows have been very high-pitched. He meows at times like usual and his behavior hasn't changed as far as I can tell. His normal meows are just really high-pitched. I would love to take him to the vet but since I live with my father, he has final say, and he doesn't want to pay for it because he thinks it's nothing. I am still worried though so can anyone tell me why he's suddenly doing this? Is it something I need to be concerned about? Should I force my dad to take him to the vet? Or is it normal and maybe it'll go away? Thank you for your time~
