Hi! I have a 1.5 year old kitty and he's never had any major health problems. I fostered him from a week old and he was a normal happy cat. I got blood work today and things were normal except his basophils (reference range 0-200 and his were 400!) I did give him a high dose of CBD the morning of and night before to try to calm him but he was just still petrified even though I was right there with him at my work drawing blood. The doctor said she wouldnt worry about it at all and it was reviewed microscopically too. But I google and it says anything from allergies but the most common (but rare) issue is bone marrow disease/cancer. I'm already losing my mind because hes so healthy acting for almost 2 years and I havent seen a kitty with basophilia before
