Hidden Figures

We rented this movie last night and it was simply outstanding. It's the story of three black women who worked for NASA. One became the first female African-American engineer, not only for NASA, but for the United States; she had to go to court for the right to go to a white school because it was the only place she could get the classes she needed for her degree. It was really a wonderful movie and I highly recommend watching it. You won't be sorry. It was amazing.

I remember that! And he tore the "Colored" sign down at the bathroom. He also took the "Colored" sticker off the coffeepot.

Early 60s. Kennedy was President. We were in the space war with Russia and they got a man in space before we did.
