My 4 month-old Indy makes these weird head movements that look like he's going to throw up, but he doesn't. The one time he threw up, he made sure to move off the bed where we were cuddling and hid under the desk with plenty of time to spare, so if he felt like he was going to throw up, I don't think he'd stay cuddling with me when this happens. It seems to happen a lot, though, and not always when he's eaten recently. He seems perfectly healthy besides this. I'm taking him to the vet on Saturday, but I just wanted to see if anyone has noticed this in their cat, and what it turned out to be?

Thanks!

It sounds like he may have a hairball that he can't get up. They can do this without getting it up, so they keep trying. I am glad you have an appt with the vet, just to be sure.
