Hi!
I feel bad, I'm one of thsoe "rude noobs" who just dives in posting w/o an introduction!
Well, to make amends, here's my intro!
I'm Paige and I work at an animal shelter. I love my job and it's my profession. I hope to do it forever.
I have two dogs, Cash and LT that I'm gaga for. Cash is a malamute mix (malamutt) and LT is a little black dog. (Spaniely looking mix) I'm way into them and training and their nutrition and all that, so I suspect that will carry over to Harriet!
As a shelter worker, I often get suckered into fostering kittens and I'll tell you what, I love it!
I'm nuts for kittens. Since fostering, I've been thinking that I want cat. I had them as a kid, but not as an "adult". I also felt that kittens wouldn't be the best match in my home. I plan on keeping the dogs and cat seperated when they aren't supervised so that may be difficult for a youngin' who wants to be everywhere all the time.
SO! after some thought and some consideration and some boyfriend finagling, I'm bringing home my most very favoritest kittey EVER, Harriet. She's a fat fat fat brown tabby, who's about 10 years old. She is so like Eric Cartman, it's not even funny. (okay, it is funny!) I just adore her and have for quite awhile. She's been adopted and returned a few times, so this is it. She's coming home forever to be loved.
She'll be coming home tomorrow and I'm so excited, I don't even know what to do!
I have had tons of questions and you guys have been muy helpful
but I'll be asking more!
Okay. That was long. Hehe.
Paige
