Adorable! All of them! Cats are so much fun. I've only ever had one at a time (my dad's rule growing up) but I've wanted more. One day when I get a place of my own I'll do so. Actually Starr reminds me a lot of my baby Popcorn. More in the story than in looks though.

Popcorn's story is an interesting one though there are probably a gazillion others like it. Her mother was one of four female siblings that were never separated and all happened to get pregnant at roughly the same time. These siblings all shared nursing chores under the porch so you had mixed nursing groups. She was in the last litter to be born and so had three older and stronger cousins nursing ahead of her. Needless to say she and her siblings weren't able to get as much nourishment as they should have. I believe Popcorn had it the worse though. I had wanted a Siamese type cat because I enjoy them (and am more than falling in love with Wedge Heads!) and she was the only one out of any of the litters that even remotely resembled one. The first time I met her was when she was three weeks old. I already knew I wanted her because she was described to me by the lady who had them. Apparantly the owner cleared the way for the younger kittens as often as she could but since she was a nurse she wasn't there nearly enough. Without her they probably would have died. At three weeks Popcorn could curl up into a ball in the palm of my hand (I don't have huge hands) and had no body fat. The main ways she kept warm was laying in the sun during the day and staggering over to the rest of the warm feline pile on her popsicle stick legs at night. Her eyes were huge swollen pink balls of infection due to her low immune system (I'm not even sure if she got to see out of her eyes after she opened them for the first time). I was scared that if I had left her there she wouldn't have survived until weaning. So I brought her home and raised her with the batch of lab puppies our family already had. She (like your adorable Starr) was bottle fed, and for the first week or so I spent quite a few sleepless nights dribbling sustenance down her weakened maw. I was so afraid she wouldn't make it! She was so tiny, weak and frail! In fact every one who saw her were afraid to tell me that they held no hopes for her. But gradually the eyes cleared up, she became more fiesty, put on weight (not necessarily in that order) and grew. She still isn't all that big but to me it doesn't really matter. She's a very social cat; she'll lay down and cuddle in anyone's lap and is proud as a peacock whenever she discovers and catches a new species of bug. Popcorn is so much my pride and joy that I nearly fell over in shocked surprise when my grandmother said "If you ever get tired of her just give the pretty thing to me." Tired of her? ME? Heck no!

They are all adorable. It's so wonderful that all of them are rescues - three of mine are rescues and Tolly was a sort of rescue too
