Hi everyone! My name's Julia, and I'm 22 and from Sydney.
I got my first kitten in September, after finally moving into a place where I was allowed to keep a pet! My boyfriend was very pleased as he'd had cats all his life and missed having a cat around to play with.
I saw my kitten advertised in the classifieds, and called the guy just to make an enquiry, but he was so eager to get rid of her, I met him that day - and he was sooo dodgy! He looked so shifty and he was carrying her in his arms and had brought his dog with him who was yapping away and scaring the crap out of the kitten, I was scared of what might happen to her if I didn't take her!
So I took her, even though he told me she was only 6 weeks - but she turned out to be 4 weeks old - she was so tiny. I named her Luna
I took her to the vet and she wasn't doing very well when I first had her, but after about 2 weeks she picked up heaps, and vibrantly bounced around all day and was eating well and slowly learning to use the kitty litter.
When it was time to take her for her vaccination, the vet couldn't believe how much she'd improved. He said he was quite worried about how she'd turn out when I first brought her in, but said that she thinks she'll never look back now!
She's black with white socks, a white bib and one side of her mouth is white, it's so cute! She loves playing with my computer, whether attacking the screen when something moves, or running across the keyboard; she also loves shoes, and has her own pair of runners to play with (so shiny and colourful!); and when she gets really excited when playing - she spits on us?! It's really funny, it's not a hiss, she actually makes a spitting noise.
I love her so much, can't imagine my life without her
