Hi, I am new to the site, so I figured I'd introduce myself and my cats. I am Care, and my cats are Cinders, Cole, and 'big kitty' (soon to be named). We all live in upstate NY, with my husband and our dog too.
Cinders is my first cat ever, a bengal female. I brought her home in October, and life has just not been the same since! After a long Christmas break, I realized she was lonely without us home during the day, so I decided to get her a companion.
I got in touch with bengal rescue, and was working on bringing home another bengal, when a friends aunt had abyssinian kittens, and one in particular desparately needed a home. I couldn't resist him, so Cole became part of my family in early March.
Even though I had decided that two cats was my limit, I had already fallen in love with a rescued bengal boy who was terrified of humans, so I kept in touch with the rescue until he was ready to come home. So, on Easter Sunday, we added 'big kitty' to our family. He is slowly getting used to our house, and I am hoping that one day he will forget his sad beginnings and be happy here forever.
So that's my little crew. If you'd like to see them, I have some pictures of Cinders and Cole on an aol website. The address is

I'm looking forward to meeting some other cat people, and chatting about our babies
