I posted in the Cat Health forums a little while ago, but I never introduced myself so I figured I'm come by here. I'm from Pittsburgh originally, but I live in Ambridge now which is a little north of Pittsburgh. My husband and I have 3 cats.
This is Tifa. She's 7 years old and is the mellowest cat I've ever met. She's extremely sweet and will go with the flow. If she's sleeping and you need her to move, you can just "spatula" her up with your hands and move her to a different spot, and she won't even stir. She loves scratching suitcases and unraveling toilet paper, and hopes to one day get into the cubbyholes in the attic where she's not allowed. Her only issue is that she desperately wants to go outside, and will hide somewhere near the door and dart out when it's opened.
This is Willow. She's also 7 (she's Tifa's sister). Willow is a such a sweetheart, but she's very anxious. She's being treated for OCD. She's gotten a lot better in recent months, but we still need to retrain her to use the litterbox and it's been a frustrating, slow road. But she has been hanging out in the open (rather than hiding) a lot more lately, and that's been wonderful to see.
This is Aries (left). He's 3 years old. He is super adorable and he definitely knows it. He has a very high-pitched meow that sounds like "mee mee," like Beaker from the Muppets. I've heard that's common among Maine Coon mixes. Aries loves to greet us at the door and he follows my husband everywhere. He loves to snuggle with Tifa (pictured). He also loves to fetch, hoard things in his food dishes and steal human food (usually he is unsuccessful). He's had some weight loss and digestive issues lately, but we may have them under control *crosses fingers* We'll see what the vet says at his next follow up.
