Hello everyone! My name is Jillian, and although I'm not a cat owner just yet, I'm most certainly a cat lover!
I've wanted a cat for a good long while. I remember repeatedly asking my mom for one throughout my childhoood, and I remember her repeatedly saying 'no'. One day, however, mom had a change of heart... while I was away at school, my sister had found a little stray kitten and had brought him home. For some reason, mom said yes to her... And while I'm still a little bitter that I don't have a furry guy to call my own, I'm very happy that Spike joined our family and that I got to become an aunt...
Right now I'm hoping to move into a new apartment (one that allows pets) so that I can take in a stray cat named Marshmallow. Marshmallow is a big, furry, white cat that lives somewhere in my sister's neighborhood. We've (my sister, mom, and I) been feeding him for the past couple of years, but haven't been able to make him a part of our family just yet. He's an extreamly sweet, affectionate cat, and I hope I can bring him in sometime soon.
Since I love cats so much and since I'm hoping to become a new mommy soon, I thought that I'd come and see what other cat lovers have to say on the many issues of 'life with cat'. I look forward to joining in on the many conversations that this board has available!!!
