Hi all,
Just want to introduce myself as I'm somewhat new to the forums. My name is Jeanette and I have three cats in my household however over the years I've been blessed to have many feline friends. We live in upstate New York in a small town that is very rural. There are hundreds of acres around my house and neighbors are pretty distant. I'm an RN student; will graduate this May (hopefully).
About my kitties... Fae was given to me by a family whose cat had kittens. Nobi is a little feral girl I found in the road when she was just 8 weeks old. She was very sick and not moving. The emergency vet washed 100's of fleas off of her, treated her respiratory illness and anemia, then sent her home with me. She's a few years old now and very healthy albeit a petite cat (probably from early malnutrition). My only boy kitty is Darby. He was a loner cat who had no home. He started hanging out around my house and I noticed he was pretty emaciated. After checking with the neighbors to make sure he didn't have a home I started feeding him. He's a feral success story. After a year and a half of love and patience he actually let me pet him and now six months later he is the biggest love bug of them all.
Kind regards,
