Hello! I am new here too but I thought I was would say hi anyways.

As other people have said, it is a bit funny what your dad unknowingly got himself into

When I brought home my 2 kittens, my dad took one look at them and said "NO WAY". But being the disobedient teen that I was at the time (I was 15), I just didn't listen and kept them anyways

Soon my dad fell in love with them, I always catch him picking them up, petting them, talking to them by himself, etc.

ooooh, I know he will love them. He is just used to barn cats getting in his way when he was a boy.

He still calls her "the cat" but I can tell it's becoming more of an affectionate name.
