The other night at dinner my niece, Kaleigh, who's five and in kindergarten,
informed us that one of the boys in her class tried to kiss her. When asked
her response Kaleigh said, "I just hit him and told him to get off me!"

Although she was gently reprimanded by her mommy for hitting I could tell her daddy (my brother) was proud and probably wishing she'll continue to react this way when she gets to be a teenager.

Oh boy... I remember that kindergarten kiss to this day. Of course it had to be Jimmy "the bugger picker"
I was picked on for the rest of elementary school over that one!

That's so cute though! I can understand her Daddy being proud of her for that response. Too bad it won't last.

My uncle held me down and his friend neighbors daughter kissed me.
Still traumatized by kissing her.
The sad part is I did not put up much of a struggle. Hmmmm....wondery why?
