Wow - we have a lot of handy TCSers! I need to start saving my TP rolls to store electrical cords. We are getting ready to take apart our entertainment center

(its huge) for painting and new carpet. Thanks for the tip!

I also use TP/Paper towel rolls to wrap small, odd shaped gifts in.

Any tips for how to get White Out off of a counter? I just spilled some on my keyboard and desk at work, and I can't think of anything that will get it off!

Not !!!! All it does when you go to bed with it on your face is wake up with cat hair really stuck on it

Now to save a few steps put extra trash bags in your trash can then you can replace it without having to go get one.

Zest bath soap is an excellent bath tub cleaner

Or shampoo if you don't have any bathroom cleaner, and it will also take makeup off your washcloth after you clean your face.

Put a little lemon oil on a rag and wipe the sides of your shower (just a tad) and the water won't case aot of grime buildup.

The best thing for stains on your carpet is Spot shot works wonders

A pumice stone will get rid of those rings in your tolet.

Some of these might be duplicates, but i got this email from a friend of mine about all the things that dryer sheets (in this case Bounce) are good for!

And all this time you've just been putting Bounce in the dryer!

It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them.

It also repels mice.. spread them around foundation areas, or in trailers or cars that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too often.

Repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season.

Eliminates static electricity from your television (or computer) screen. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling,
wipe your television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.

Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce.

Freshen the air in your home. Place an individual sheet of Bounce in adrawer or hang in the closet.

Put A Bounce sheet in your vacuum cleaner.

Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through sheet of Bounce before beginning to sew

Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce inside empty luggage before storing..

Freshen the air in your car. Place a sheet of Bounce under the front seat.

Clean baked-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in pan, fill with water, let sit overnight, and sponge clean.
The anti- static agent apparently weakens the bond between the food.

Eliminate odors in wastebaskets. Place a sheet of Bounce at the bottom of the wastebasket.

Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will magnetically attract all the loose hairs.

Eliminate static electricity from Venetian blinds. Wipe the blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

Hmmm...most of the ones I know have been used.
But my contribution:

Doing nails and accidentally went over the cutical? Take a Qtip dip it in nail polish remover and do a quick touch up!

Also Eggshells help sharpen garbage disposal blades in addition to th ice cubes.

Don't like using baby oil to remove eye makeup (I get stys if I do), then use a facial moisturizer instead. It helps keep your eyes moist & young looking and removes the eye makeup with out rubbing or stretching your eyes.
