I have a 9 yr old indoor cat. Last month he vomited an orange color bile. We took him to vet and was diagnosed with pneumonia. The vet said he needs to be confined and monitored or just inject a med that day then take him back tomorrow. But we decided to leave him there because were so worried and dont know what to do. He was there for a week. After that we Took him home and is still weak. The vet gave us 2kinds of meds for him to drink. We tried to give our cat the med but he wont take it. We took him again to the vet for a check up because he's gotten worse and breathing fast. Unluckily he's blood counts are very low. The vet just injected him again and recommended to get our cat an oxygen house to help him with his breathing. We get our cat an oxgen house and on the first day of using it was good. He's breathing gets normal and he ate a little to. After a few days he gets weak again. He vomited many times and can't properly walk. Today we took him again to the vet. When we take him out of his cage were shocked because he just lying, barely breathing and his tounge is out. The nurse rush and put him inside the oxygen house. The vet said to just wait until our cat can breath a little better so they can inject him again with med. This time they gave us med again in liquid type so we can give our cat by using a syringe. Now were home and my cat is just still lying and wont eat.
