As I'm sure some of you have already seen, I'm getting a Himalayan kitten next week on Wednesday the 30th. I've met her twice now and she's extremely playful but also a major cuddler. She's also the type to look at you like you're an idiot, and if you wake her she has the maddest little expression! Also, she came from a litter of two and her sibling died during birth, so she's very much a people lover. Still deciding if she's chocolate or seal, but I'm leanin towards seal. Any name suggests would be GREATLY appreciated, because I don't want her doomed to being called "kitty" for the rest of her life like some of my past loves from childhood [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Any guidance on what kind of name? Fairly common, or quite unusual? Regal, or cutesy? A name a human would also have, or one that sounds only like a cat name/nickname?

But a few suggestions to get going, since she's a Himalayan, some Nepalese names:
Aadi (means first/best)
Amita (means boundless)
Daya (kindness)
Maiya (little girl)

Personally, I like unique names that have a "ease" to them. I don't want something that takes forever to say, but I don't want something that everyone else has. I also like regal names, because she looks like a queen, but my mother loves cutesy names. Out of your suggestions above I really like Aadi

This may be a little difficult a name.  How about Kismet?  (An Arabic word for fate.)

I think Sasha fits that sweet little face to a T. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️
And the "a" on the end rather than an "i" is more feminine sounding.

My vote is with Sasha.  As soon as I saw it, I dumped the other three I had thought of.  This kitten is a Sasha.

I agree, I was thinking Duchess or Gigi, but after I heard Sasha it just stuck. It fits her so well!
