Help! What are these pink bumps all over my cat's face? He's acting totally normal and not scratching them!

He's playing, eating and drinking, and being completely normal. He has about 5 of these red bumps on his face and I can feel more on his neck. Indoor cat only and I flea combed him and found nothing. I have a vet appointment for Friday.

I have two thoughts.
1. Ringworm
2. Hives from an allergy
However, I'm no vet and have no experience personally with either. But I have seen ringworm in horses and it does look similar. He could also have an allergy to something. Do you bathe him? maybe his shampoo. Could be something he eats..one of my old cats was allergic to chicken of all things. (but didn't get hives).

Those would have been my thoughts, as well. And it could be a contact dermatitis, something that he's gotten into (not eaten) that he's allergic to. So long as they do not become red and inflame, and his daily habits don't change, you're safe waiting for the vet appointment.

And for goodness' sake, LET US KNOW WHAT THE VET SAYS!
