Hi. Sophia, the pregnant cat that showed up at my house a few weeks ago had her kittens last week. There wasn't much fanfare She didn't even act in labor, lost the mucus plug and started having kittens. She ended up having them in the bathtub upstairs. I had seen her laying there a couple times, so there were sheets and blankets in there. She ended up having 6.
They will be a week old tomorrow. Yesterday, she started trying to move them under the couch in the livingroom. Not a good place in my opinion as I have 2 small dogs who might think they are squeeky toys. When she moves one or two I put them back upstairs. She doesn't always move the same ones. She seems to put 1 or 2 under the couch and then lays down and feeds them. I know she is trying to tell me something, I just don't know what. We have not been upstairs bothering the kittens. I go up in the morning and evening just to check and make sure everything is ok. Other than that, no one ever uses the upstairs at all.
Any suggestions, please I know I am tired carrying 2 kitten up while she is carrying one down.

Thank you.
