Help needed for name and possibly logo.

Here in Midland, we have an organization called SOS Animal Rescue. I don't know if there are rules that would prevent you from using that name, since it is a registered, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. I personally, like the phrase "Animal Rescue" (I think it has that heartstring-tugging quality you are looking for), perhaps there's some variation that would work for you.
