Normally if they eat something that doesn't agree with them they barf it up and then it is over.
Continous vomiting and lack of appetite could eb a huge number of things. Most important is to watch is he is drinking water. If he isn't, then he needs to be at the vets to be observed.
Intestinal blockage could cause the symptoms you are seeing (and it doesn't make a whit of difference WHAT you are trying to feed him), but it should have shown up in the x-rays.
I assume the pup has also been checked for worms via a fecal exam?
Another possiblity, if it is hot where you are it could be heat stroke.
