Help! Loving cat meows outside our bedroom door at night, can't find a way to make him stop.

I understand all the legit reasons the people above have for not letting cats into their bedrooms - but all I can think is how much I wish my River was this clingy! haha

We have the same problem and the same results when we let them in the bedroom to sleep. They may sleep for a bit and then they are knocking over water and climbing on our heads and nipping and grooming us. It happens every single night and they are three. The boy likes to go in the garage so we've taken To letting him sleep there. The girl - nervous Nelly - is NOT a lap cat and will cry forever and so she often ends up in the garage too, but I hate putting her there. Very frustrated and losing sleep for way too long.
