Ok,long story short we just adopted a kitty. 8 years old and super fat...he developed hepatic lipidosis....he went to the vet yesterday and after an ultrasound it was confirmed. They sent me home with antibiotics, puking meds, potassium powder, and some other stuff. I've been instructed to syringe feed him about 2 and a half cans of a/d per day...he takes food fine, but today he has puked up every meal he's gotten. I'm very worried. I know the only real cure here is food...is there anyway to keep food in him? I'm so frustrated. I'm scared that despite me giving him the food, at the rate he throws it up he's going to die anyways. Hes only been on his vomiting pill for one day...Maybe it takes some time to work? Ugh. [emoji]128532[/emoji]
