If they are still attatched to the cords and/or have any placenta on them towel them off. Get them dry and stimulate them by rubbing them wtih a towel. You can tie off the cord with a string and then cut it, about an inch or so out from the body. Tying it with a string will keep it from bleeding.
She has had 5 babies. She is sleeping now and the babies are all nursing. I am hoping that she is done. I keep checking on her, and she looks at me and meows when I come in the room. i think she was jsut tired. She seems to be doing good. When should I try and feed her some wet food?
Did she eat the placentas? If she did, she won't be hungry for a few hours. I fed my kitty about 6 hours after she gave birth, to 8 kittens, but there was dry there for her too.
