Hi all! I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I could get an evalution on the dry food I'm currently giving and some help choosing a new brand of dry food for my cat. Due to some price changes I might not be able to give him the usual brand The dry food he's currently on is grainfree and contains fresh salmon, fresh deboned chicken, chicken meal, potato starch, tapioca...(korean brand so hard to translate). They say it contains more than 33% raw protein and above 16% fat.
Some alternative choices are Purina cat chow complete or indoor and two other korean brands. The first brand (probest) says the ingredients are from china and contains above 30% protein and 12% fat. The site doesnt list the ingredients and they are not shown in the image...the second brand (cats eye) contains beef meal, chicken meal, fish meal, grains, rice, beat pulp...and has 31.5% protein and 12.5% fat. If I switch to any of these will food quality drop significantly or are they all about the same? What should I be looking for in cat food? I know the basics of low carbs and high protein but they all seem the same to me I'm not good at looking at foods and would appreciate any help!
