My cat just gave birth to kittens. She was outside the house when she gave birth since i had to go to school. She didn't come back home that night but the next morning she moved 4 of her kittens to my house. They're now inside my house.
My concern is that is the kittens getting enough milk. 3 (2 white 1 grey) of the kittens that were moved early by their mom is healthy and growing rapidly and is moving alot and rarely cry. But there's another kitten that was moved really late (about 8 hours after the third cat) and she is comparatively smaller than the others. She also cry sometimes when they're eating AT THE SAME TIME. When i watch them one of the three white ones (im not sure if its the same kitten that cried because they're all the same colour) keep climbing up the mom's body and sometimes the box. I read somewhere that if the kitten is sucking hard they're strong and im sure all of them are sucking strongly.
Can someone tell me if it's normal for 3 days old kittens? What do I do if they're crying while their mom is away? My cat also bled yesterday a little bit (48 hours after giving birth). Also I read somewhere that weighing them is important but i dont have any idea how to do that. Their mom is really protective over all of them and i dont have the appliances to do it. The three kittens are bigger than the first time i saw them (2 days ago) and only the one that was moved late is small. Please give me tips and what to expect from them. Thank you.
