HELP...1 cat growling at the other

I took one of my cats to the Vet this morning because he was sick and ever since I brought him home my other cat has been growling and hissing at him. He's so upset because they usually play and groom eachother. He keeps trying to approach him but the other cat just keeps growling why is this and when will it stop?

Do you have any vanilla? If so dab a few drops on both cats tail base, it will make them smell the same again.

I just tried it but it didn't work. As soon as he sees him coming he has a fit.
