Hello hello! Just to introduce myself and my two beautiful cats.
I'm Lou, 29 and from Southsea. Living with my partner and our little plodder, Scout, a one year old female Torti and Harvey, a 5 year old black and white domestic short hair.
Weve had Harvey since he was 10 months old and immediately he caused all sorts of trouble! He was hit by a car, and survived, then got Gastroenteritis and nearly died again but survived, he had his man parts taken away and had his butt bitten by the little madam cat that lived downstairs from us. All that within four months! Needless to say afterall that he has settled in to be a very handsome, if a little clueless, dude about town. He's beyond friendly, clearly in love with us as his owners and rules the house. He has been a little more grumpy however since the introduction of the incredible rascal that is Scout.
Sadly she didn't have a great start in life, she was born in a bedsit where the mother wasn't spayed and kept having kittens. Because of this she wasn't properly socialised, and although she adores other cats she is extremely wary of men, apart from my partner, but the second she sees a visitor she scarpers upstairs. Anyway, we've been working really hard on her confidence and she's becoming more bold and naughty as she's coming out of her shell. Constantly chasing Harv in hope he will chase her back, which he does sometimes before he's had enough and bops her on the head lol
Although it's still taking time for Harvey to love her back as much as she loves him, the harmony in the house is adjusting nicely and our home wouldn't be the same without her.
Both are spayed/neutered and chipped although we have still to let Scout outside, we don't feel her confidence is high enough or safe enough to let her out yet without her being frightened of noises and darting in an unknown direction, but we hope we can do it this Summer!
Anyway, here's a photo of our lovelies! Nice to meet you all
