I've just joined up and thought I'd say high. I'm between cats at the moment as I've just lost my spuddy cat. I'm thinking about getting a couple of kittens sometime in the future, but not until I've moved house which I'll be doing in the next 3-4 months.

Thanks guys, its appreciated. Getting over loosing Spuds now. I'm sure she wouldn't want me to be so unhappy. I'm so busy at the moment getting everything ready to move house it takes my mind off the situation.

Ah, my heart aches for you, Jim.   Had to have my B-Man (actual name: Beelze-Cat, Spawn of the Devil, Child of Satan, the Evil One) put to sleep 3 1/2 years ago.  I still tear up at times... like now.  There was a huge Caution! sticker on his chart at the vet's.  Barely tolerated anyone else, but loved me as much as I loved him.  Truly a one-person cat.    God, I miss him so much.

But, by all means, get two kittens so they can have you laughing hysterically over their antics!  They will ease your heartache.
