A new kitten from Northern Europe joining the forum here!
I'm an active member on Finnish cat forums and looking for a more international perspective on cats. My husband and I are lovingly enslaved by four kitties (sorry for the rather poor quality of the pictures):
This is our beloved sovereign, Usva (mist in Finnish). She is 6 years old, and came to us as a rescue in 2000. She is very smart, a real linguist/engineer. Usva is a real peoples cat, always harassing everyone to pet and admire her. She wasn't sure about other four legged creatures though, until we got a friend for her.
The friend was Milla (a common girls name given by her foster family), who, also a rescue, is now 3. Milla is a darling little cat who taught Usva that other cats aren't felicidal maniacs. She loves to fool around, but doesn't like strange people, with family she's very affectionate.
These are our latest addition tho the family: brothers Tilli (dill) on the right and Timotei (timothy, as in hay) on the left, 16 months old. We got them from an irresponsible friends unwanted litter. They may not be the sharpest tools in the shed, but they certainly have warm hearts, I love them to pieces. Tilli has a wierd love for olives and gin&tonic (we don't allow him to have them of course). Timotei loves to eat generally
.
They are a great team, everyone gets along perfectly. Of course they are all spayed/neutered and stricktly indoor cats: we take them out only on a leash.
Apologies for possible spelling errors, it's been a while, since I wrote English. I'm really looking forward to sharing experiences of cat care with you!
