Hi, folks! Me and my kitties would like to introduce ourselves. And since they are top-cats, they get to go first:
"Hi. I'm Rootbeer, aka 'Mr. Cutie-Pie'. I'm an orange and white shorthair tabby, and I was born with my hind legs bent backwards, like swimmers. Doesn't bother me a bit! Nobody picks on me, because I can hold my own in a cat-fight, and usually get the best of my opponent!"
"Hi. I'm Casper, and I'm as black as the ace of spades! I'm a shorthair, and I'm very, very friendly! I drool all over mama when she pets me, and I give her little love nips."
"Hi. I'm Oscar, and I'm also an orange and white shorthair tabby. I'm a hand-licker, and that's what got me adopted from the animal shelter. Mama likes kitties who lick her hand. I get petted extra when I do this, so I keep on doing it. No dummy, me!"
And now, the kitties' mama. And a bit about how I acquire my cats. I have always done one of two things, and often both: I adopt them from our local animal shelter, and/or, I adopt them from people in the community giving away free kittens. I usually find them through the classified, "pets" category, although a next-door neighbor offered me one of his cats because he had too many. However I get them, as soon as they're with me, they become very spoiled and very pampered, very fast!
Hope you folks will welcome me and my kitties, here. It's nice to have found this site.
