Hi all,
Just found this site today whilst trawling the net and have to say I am very impressed!
A quick introduction of myself and my 'furry family' -
Five years ago I met and fell in love with a great guy who introduced me to a friend of his who bred Himalayans....I instantly fell in love with the breed.
For Christmas 2003 our friend gave us one of their Himalayan kittens - Zoe. And the love affair began in earnest!!
For Christmas 2005 our friend invited us to chose another kitten - Bella.
Zoe and Bella have the same parents, three litters apart.
Zoe is 'my big girl', who has slept in our bed from day 1, firstly as a kitten curled around my head, to now, where she will sleep anywhere - as long as she is touching me! I am quite often awoken by fishy 'cat kisses' in the middle of the night or early morning. And if I try to roll over in my sleep, a paw is placed firmly on my arm as if to say 'don't even think about it...'
Bella is my 'baby girl' who is independent, naughty and loves a good hidey-hole. She also sleeps in our bed...but under the covers wrapped around my feet. At least there is no fighting between the two cats trying to get their favourite spot!
Our third cat, Max is a striped moggy-cat... I got him as a kitten when I was 18 after I first moved out of home. He is a loner, doesn't like being in the house with the other cats, but as soon as I venture outside he is there - wanting a cuddle and a pat.
So that's my fur-family. I love them dearly.

I'm really looking forward to using this site for all the info and advice I could ever need!
