Hi everyone, I just found this forum today and posted in the health section about issues one of my kitties is having.
Anyway, our household is a busy one - we've got 4 cats, two dogs, and a tank-full of fish (which I refer to as CATV). All our cats are indoors and in order of age, they are:
Macy, a rescued Siamese, 10 years old (approx). Adopted from what was a bad situation - she'd been brutally declawed - grrr - and incompletely spayed, requiring a second surgery. Now she's healthy and mostly happy, though she's the Diva of the place and lets everyone know when she's grumpy.
Almond, an orange and white tabby, 5-1/2 years old. He was suppposed to be a foster of mine, and he stayed. Possibly the best cat ever, loads of personality and very affectionate. Also overweight.
Misha, 5, a grey kitty who looks like a Russian Blue but is really a rescue stray. He was also supposed to be a foster but was returned to me twice so he stayed. He's skinny and neurotic, but very sweet and bonded to me.
Sherman, 1-1/2, cameo and white Maine Coon. The only cat I've ever had from a breeder. Absolutely wonderful, may give Almond a run for the title as best cat ever. But going through serious and baffling health problems right now, which has me extremely worried.
the dogs are Toby and Chamois, 4 and 3, respectively, one chocolate (male) and one yellow (female) Labrador Retrievers. Gentle and wonderful with the cats - Sherman and Almond LOVE them, the other cats tolerate them.
And that's us!
