Hey everyone! I've been browsing this forum for some time before getting my kitty and since, so I've decided to make an account and introduce ourselves.
The little baby below is Freya, who joined our family last Friday. She was part of an unwanted litter of kittens and the people who had her and her siblings were going to "throw them away" unless they got adopted. So that's how she ended up with us We were initially told she's 9 weeks old, but at our first vet visit he told us she's barely 6 weeks old!
Either way she's doing great, eating, sleeping, and being a little (exhausting) ball of energy. She sleeps next to me at night and sometimes even grooms my hair. She learned to use her litter box on her first try and hasn't peed anywhere else since. Our current challenge revolves around learning that people are not toys.
