Hi everyone, I would like to introduce my furry little ones! I am a mommy to four little furry babies. Also, all of my babies are from Korea. I used to teach in South Korea with my husband. We left New Jersey 2009, fresh out of college and we started to teach English there. To help me cope with my anxiety attacks and depression we first adopted Loki, a Maltese from a local pet shop. He is very loving and gentle but a bit of a dope, lol. We then added Remy the mini-poodle to our family. She was a rescue but counting down time in a kill shelter. So, we adopted her!!! But little did we know she'd be such a toy-stealing diva!
Now, for the main stars!!! Nuri and Kenzie. Nuri was discovered by the mini-mart next to our apartment. He was just this tiny mewling kitten. The owner didn't know what to do and I stepped forward to take responsibility for him. The school semester was just starting so, I think he was taken in by me early September. Kenzie was also a street cat. She was a just a kitten when my husband found her by his school. She was being picked on and someone had stuck gum on the top of her head. She was really small so, when he brought her home and we had her checked out everyone thought she was much younger than what she was! The biggest surprise came a short time later when we discovered that she was pregnant!!! My husband and I helped her to deliver baby but it was a still born. T_T I think she didn't eat a lot out on the streets and maybe her body was too young to handle a pregnancy.
She is a very sweet kitty. She loves to give kisses and will come to you most of the time when you call her name. She is very affectionate and she purrs very loudly. She also likes to chat, haha. Nuri on the other hand tends to act really aloof. He only shows affection when he feels like it and is both an avid eater and bird watcher. They are both strictly house cats but I can find them both at the window watching the birds. Nuri only shows love if you have food and only if it is something he likes to eat. Both cats also know how to open doors! Nuri is the best at it since he is much bigger.
