Hello, Everyone!
I just found this site this morning - YAY! I am the loving mother of two boys (ages 14 and 12) and 6 female cats (all of whom live strictly indoors though I let the boys out quite often! They do cause such trouble indoors! hahahaha) My friends and family tease that my cats don't live with me...I live with them! They definately rule the house and almost every room is equipped to accomodate their joy!
Our greatest cat moment was experiencing the birth of our four kittens last June 1st. I was determined to give them away prior to their birth, (they came as a surprise as the mother was determined to have been spayed, but when she ran out the door one day, that was it!). Once they were here I knew I had to keep them all! I would not trust anyone to give them a more loving home! My oldest cat was a gift from my boyfriend 4 1/2 years ago, and the second oldest was rescued from a Wal-Mart parking lot 3 1/2 years ago by my mother and oldest son. Well, that was quite an intro. Hope I didn't bore you. But I do have one more item. My second oldest cat, (she's probably close to four years), has a thick discharge coming from her anus. It's sort of gray in color and the smell is quite strong. The best way I can describe it is like a bad yeast infection. (I know this is gross...sorry.) This happened one other time to her and cleared itself up within a few days. Any ideas? Her last check-up at the vet was A-OK. She is otherwise just fine so I hesitate to run her to the vet. Thanks for any help!
