You won't believe it. Right when I'm talking about PREVENTING my cat from getting pregnant, I find a pregnant stray. She is heavily pregnant but I can't tell how many kittens she has or when she is due to have the babies.
WOW.
I asked around and someone across the street told me that she's been around and he's been feeding her. He planned to take her to the pound today, but I assured him that I would take care of it if he didn't want to continue caring for her. So now she's in my house. I have her separated from my cat so she's in the laundry room. She seems very shy but hasn't bitten me or anything. She just keeps her distance but she did eat a whole can of wet food. I have absolutely no idea how to care for her. She's terribly huge, and she is even leaking a small amount of milky discharge. She seems to be an older cat, maybe around 3 or 4 years old and from the information I could get, she's been a stray for several months now. :/
