Hi! I'm new here and really appreciate this wonderful site and community of cat lovers.
I'm Victoria, and my wife and I have three kitties. They say hello too!
Scouty is 9. My wife adopted him from a vet office trying to rehome him when he was a kitten. He survived a tumor/fatty growth in his middle ear. He's a trooper and always scouting things out. He's the tabby.
Phantom (the fluffy, black and white one) and Hazel (the gray tort) are a brother and sister from the same litter and are now 11. Their mother was an indoor cat who escaped and mated with a feral cat(s). I adopted them from someone trying to find homes for the kittens. I was only planning on adopting one kitty at the time, but I knew the home Hazel was going to had aggressive dogs and I ended up begging to keep both of them. (The family with the aggressive dogs ended up adopting another kitten from elsewhere, and the poor thing was torn to pieces by the dogs. [emoji]128575[/emoji]) Phantom is sweet and adventurous. Hazel has had anxiety and aggression issues most of her life. Hazel will no longer be with us as of this Tuesday (she has to be euthanized [emoji]128532[/emoji]), but I'll always consider her part of the family.
Thanks for including us in your cat community!
